Selection of GPS & automotive technology

Paragon Installations are able to install and service any mobile communications and automotive technology products currently available in the UK, including:

  • In vehicle CCTV – Available in 4 or 8 camera systems. Provides constant DVD quality recording in and around vehicle. Most often used in public transport or security vehicles.
  • Vehicle GPS trackers – Activated in the event of a theft this device broadcasts your vehicles location to the network, as well as the police.
  • GPS fleet management systems – Allows for a range of functions including vehicle and driver monitoring. Some devices can even allow for remote disabling of the vehicle.
  • GPs vehicle & driver profiling device – Active monitoring of your driver &/or vehicle to identify a range of issues such as safety issues, poor driving methods, excessive fuel consumption or CO2 emissions.
  • GPS vehicle fuel device – Provides detailed real-time reporting on location, speed, fuel consumption, economy, etc. through the vehicles on onboard computer.
  • GPS asset tracking – Sends out an immediate alarm if containers, plant equipment, etc is moved outside of its permitted boundaries.
  • GPS trailer device – Anti-theft device which tracks current position of trailer units. Some units also report on statistics such as load weight, tyre pressure, camber, etc.
  • Hand free mobile phone devices – Fitted to vehicle and utilising a docking cradle or Bluetooth technology for mobile phone connection. Legally required for mobile phone use in the UK.
  • Fixed Cab Phones – Fixed permanently in vehicle. Popular in LGV, HGV or executive chauffer driven cars
  • Safety camera systems – Used to eliminate blind spots on vehicles and for reversing – available with wide angle or low light cameras for better visibility. Use of these often qualifies vehicle for cheaper insurance premiums.
  • ADAS (advanced driver assist systems) – Acts as an electronic “Third eye” using sophisticated algorithms to constantly monitor the road ahead and warn drivers of impending collisions or other sudden, in-road hazards
  • Ultra sonic obstacle detection – Most commonly thought of as ‘parking sensors’ for HGVs these offer safer manoeuvring to drivers as well as particular protection to cyclists, pedestrians & workers on site.
  • Reversing warning alarms – Audible danger warning whilst reversing large vehicles.
  • Pulsed radar sensors – Designed to detect people and objects in low visibility conditions. Used extensively in industries such as mining, quarrying, farming, construction & waste. Fitting is often a requirement for Health & Safety compliance.
  • Parking sensors – Becoming increasingly common on private vehicles these give the driver an audible indication of how close their vehicle is to objects when parking.
  • Witness ‘Black Box’ recorders – Enables constant in cab monitoring of drivers &/or the road ahead providing constant recording of staff or in the event of accidents.
  • Vehicle locks – Huge range of locks and locking products providing exceptional security for commercial vehicles of all types. Tough construction for use in any industry.
  • Catalytic converter guards – Designed to prevent the theft of valuable catalytic converter units or components. Hardwearing & manufactured to offer maximum resistance to theft.
